I hadn't spoken to my ex in nearly 3 years. When I finally did it was to tell him goodbye as I've recently been given less than two months to live.
We spoke less than 2 wks after I got remarried... he told me he loves me.
As much as I still love him & want to believe him his actions betray his words.
I may die wishing that this could have been our chance. Instead he said goodbye.
I guess that says it all...
I'm engaged and due to get married this year.
I've been having sex with someone else since last October, and have fallen in love with them. He has feelings for me too, but we both know we can't be together.
It hurts.
